Partners

Jon Aviles, CPA

Throughout his 25 year career, Jon has been a sought-after professional holding Chief Financial Officer and Senior Management level positions at companies of all sizes, from small and medium-size companies to Big 4 International Accounting Firms and Fortune 500 Companies. The companies include Arthur Andersen LLP, Citigroup, Home Shopping Network “HSN” and The Home Depot USA Inc. Jon has extensive experience in the areas of Tax, Mergers & Acquisitions, Accounting Operations, and Financial Planning & Analytics. Jon is also fluent in both Spanish and English. Jon is a licensed CPA and Certified Global Management Accountant and is a graduate of the College of Business of the University of South Florida. He continues to stay abreast of new and changing Accounting Standards and Tax laws through ongoing professional education.

Eric Coulter, CPA, CFP(R), ChFC

With over 25 years of experience, Eric consults on estate and trust tax planning and distribution strategies. He also represents estates, individuals, and businesses in front of the Internal Revenue Service for Audits and Collection matters. In addition, Eric has extensive experience working with companies of all sizes, designing and implementing accounting systems, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and IRS rules and regulations. Eric is a licensed CPA in the state of Florida and graduated from the University of Florida in 1993 with a Bachelors of Science in Agriculture, the University of South Florida in 1994 with a Bachelors of Science in Accounting, and in 1996 with a Masters in Accountancy.

Trey Stevens, CPA

Trey began his Accounting career in 2009 as a bookkeeper. In 2012 he joined Coulter, Aviles & Co as a Staff Accountant focusing on small business accounting and individual tax returns. Trey graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He earned his CPA License in 2016 and currently manages the firm’s Plant City office. He has extensive small business experience in a wide range of industries, including medical, real estate, construction, and hospitality. Trey manages all aspects of client tax matters, individual and business, and supervises client audits at the federal and state levels. He is an active leader in his church and a Plant City Rotary Club member.
