Eric Coulter, CPA/PFS, CFP(R), ChFC Partner With over 15 years of experience, Eric consults on estate and trust tax planning and distribution strategies. He also represents estates, individuals and businesses in front of the Internal Revenue Service for Audits and Collection matters. In addition, Eric has extensive experience working with companies of all sizes, designing and implementing accounting systems, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and IRS rules and regulations. Eric is a licensed CPA in the states of Florida, Virginia and Tennessee and graduated from the University of Florida in 1993 with a Bachelors of Science in Agriculture, the University of South Florida in 1994 with a Bachelors of Science in Accounting and in 1996 with a Masters in Accountancy. Additionally, Eric is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA).
Jon Avilés, CPA Partner Throughout his 18 year career Jon has been a sought after professional holding Chief Financial Officer and Senior Management level positions at companies of all sizes, from small and medium size companies to Big 4 International Accounting Firms and Fortune 500 Companies. The companies include Arthur Andersen LLP, Citigroup, Home Shopping Network “HSN” and The Home Depot USA Inc. Jon has extensive experience in the areas of Audit, Tax, Mergers & Acquisitions, Accounting Operations and Financial Planning & Analytics. Jon also has extensive International Accounting & Tax experience and is fluent in both Spanish and English. Jon is a Florida Certified Public Accountant and a graduate from the College of Business of the University of South Florida. He continues to stay abreast of new and changing Accounting Standards and Tax laws through ongoing professional education and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA).
David Jackson, CPA Partner David Jackson is a CPA with 16 years of public accounting experience.  He holds degrees from the University of Texas (BBA 1980) and East Tennessee State University (BBA 1993 and MACC 1996) and is licensed as a CPA in Virginia, Tennessee and Florida.   David has considerable experience in taxation (personal, not-for-profit, estates, partnerships and corporations) and attestation services (audits, reviews and compilations).  He also represents clients in audits by various taxing authorities and provides small business consulting services.   Mr. Jackson is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Virginia Society of CPA’s (VSCPA), and the Tennessee Society of CPA’s (TSCPA).  He is also a member of Civitan International, Moose International, and is a Partner in Education with West Pines Elementary School.

Kenneth L. Brown, CPA, CVA Manager Ken is Certified Public Accountant licensed both in the state of Maryland and the state of Florida.  Ken graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business from the University of Maryland and received his Masters Degree in Accounting from Benjamin Franklin University.   Before joining Coulter, Aviles & Jackson, Ken successfully operated his own CPA practice, KL Brown CPA. Over the last 30 years Ken has served his clients in the areas of accounting, tax and business valuation, with the goal of understanding the individual needs of every client including addressing industry specific challenges, compliance needs and standard tax practices.   In addition to Business Valuation, Ken specializes in the areas of Accounting and Taxation for Real Estate, Hospitality and Professional Service industries.   Ken is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association of Valuation Analysts; the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants; and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
James E. Miller, CPA Manager Jim is a former IRS agent and a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of Florida, with over 30 years of experience in the areas of Tax and Litigation Support.   Before joining Coulter, Aviles & Jackson, Jim operated his own CPA practice, James E. Miller PA., serving clients in the areas of accounting, tax and litigation support,    Jim is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Weiwei Xie, CPA Sr. Staff Accountant Victoria "Weiwei" has over 5 years of public accounting experience in the areas of audit and assurance services, including extensive SEC filing and SEC reporting experience. In addition to her experience, Victoria is a licensed CPA in the state of Utah and graduated from the Jinan University, Guangzhou China in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and obtained her Masters in Accountancy, from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaing, in 2006.
